Built in 1931 at Ashford Works by Richard Maunsell.
Numbered 31638 in BR days.
Withdrawn from service in January 1964 after 32 Years, 8 months of service.
Fitted with a 4,000 gallon tender.
Last major overhaul was completed in February 2006.
Withdrawn on 4th July 2015, due to repeated failures.
Painted in Southern Railway Green livery.
Stored on static display, awaiting overhaul at Sheffield Park.
