Numbered LNER 4744, LNER 9523 & BR 69523 at other times.

Withdrawn from service in September 1962.

Owned by the Gresley Society.

First ran in preservation from 1978-1987.

2nd boiler ticket was from 1994-1998.

Last major overhaul was completed in 2009.

Last boiler ticket expired in November 2018.

Boiler ticket expires in 2036.

Painted in GNR Apple Green livery.
