Built in 1928 at Brighton Works by Richard Maunsell.
Withdrawn from service in January 1964 after 35 Years, 3 months of service.
Fitted with a 3, 500 gallon tender.
The second locomotive to leave Barry Scrapyard in January 1969.
Owned by the Maunsell Locomotive Society.
Last major overhaul was completed in 1987 as 1618.
Boiler ticket expired in 1994 as 1618.
Painted in BR lined Black livery with late crest.
Stored on static display, awaiting overhaul.
