Based at West Coast Railway's Carnforth Works in Lancashire.

Built in 1945 at Eastleigh by Oliver Bullied & ran as 21C18 until 1948.

Rebuilt in February 1956.

Withdrawn from service in 1964 after 19 Years, 3 months of service.

Owned by the West Coast Railway Co.

Last major restoration was completed in 2016.

Boiler & mainline ticket expires in 2027.

Painted in BR Brunswick lined Green livery with late crest.

Currently operational & mainline certified.

Mainline certified 2017-ongoing.

First of the class to be rebuilt.
