Based at Didcot Railway Centre in Oxfordshire.
Built in September 1937 by Charles Collett at Swindon Works & was allocated to Old Oak Common Shed in West London.
Withdrawn from service in August 1965 and sent to Barry Scrapyard.
Owned by the Great Western Society since 1974.
First ran in preservation from 1975-1986.
Returned to service in 2007, following overhaul.
Withdrawn in March 2013, due to a boiler crack & firebox problems.
Painted in GWR Wartime Black livery.
Stored on static display, awaiting overhaul.
