Based at the Dartmouth Steam Railway in Paignton, Devon.
Built in January 1939 by Charles Collett & worked on heavy freight duties on GWR System
Withdrawn in July 1963, after covering 726, 770 miles.
It was sold and taken to the South Devon Railway in November 1983 to be restored and entered service there in 2005.
Previously based at the South Devon Railway, but sold to the Dartmouth Steam Railway in 2022 along with the remains of similar locomotive 2873.
Owned by the Dartmouth Steam Railway.
Last major overhaul was completed in 2005.
Boiler ticket expired in 2015.
