Based at Talyllyn Railway.
Built in 1921 by Kerr Stuart of Stoke-on-Trent.
Named after the general manager of the line prior to preservation.
Edward Thomas has been painted red, as Peter Sam in the early years of preservation during 1990's.
Last major overhaul was completed in 2024.
Boiler ticket expires in 2034.
Painted in Works lined Grey livery.
Currently operational.
