Based at Swindon Steam Museum in Wiltshire.
Built in April 1916 by George Jackson Churchward at Swindon Works & like 4247, spent much of it’s career working on china clay goods trains in South Wales & Cornwall.
Withdrawn from service in May 1963.
Owned by the Swindon Steam Railway Museum.
Never to run in preservation.
No livery will be applied on this loco.
On static display at Steam Museum in Swindon in skeleton form.
Largely dismantled to look like a locomotive in the works.
