Built in March 1938 by Sir Nigel Gresley at Doncaster Works.
Numbered LNER 607, LNER 22, BR E22 & BR 60022 at other times.
Withdrawn from service in April 1963 after 25 years, 1 month of service.
Fitted with a non corridor tender.
Owned by the National Railway Museum in York.
Last major overhaul was completed in 1985.
Retired from service in August 1988.
Painted in LNER Garter Blue livery.
On permanent static display in the Great Hall.
