Based at the National Railway Museum in Shildon, currently at Doncaster.
Built in June 1936 by Sir Nigel Gresley at Doncaster Works.
Numbered LNER 700, LNER 800 & BR 60800 at other times.
Withdrawn from service in August 1962.
Owned by the National Railway Museum in York.
First ran in preservation from 1972-1987.
Last major overhaul was completed in August 1998.
Boiler ticket expired in May 2008, but was withdrawn on 1st April 2008 due to boiler failure.
Painted in LNER Apple Green livery.
On permanent static display.
