Based at Crewe LNWR Works in Cheshire.
Built in May 1934 by Charles Collett at Swindon Works & was named after the castle near Frome in Somerset.
Withdrawn from service in December 1963.
Owned by Locomotive Services Ltd [Jeremy Hosking].
First ran in preservation from 1995-2005.
Last ran between 2008-2015.
It has a single chimney & a Hawksworth 4000 tender fitted.
Returned to service in April 2025, following overhaul.
Boiler ticket expires in 2035.
Painted in GW lined Green livery with GW lettering.
TOPS No 98728.
Certified for mainline running until 2035.
Currently fully operational.
