Built in 1925 at the Darlington Works of Robert Stephenson & Co.
Numbered LMS 9679, SDJR 89 & BR 53809 at other times.
Withdrawn from service in June 1964.
Owned by the 13809 Preservation Society.
Previously ran in preservation in the 1980's.
Last major overhaul was completed in January 2016.
Boiler ticket expired in November 2025.
Painted in LMS unlined Black livery.
Currently stored awaiting overhaul.
