Based at Crewe Works LNWR in Cheshire.
Built on 28th February 1961.
Numbered 55022 at other times.
Withdrawn from service on 2nd January 1982.
Painted in BR Green livery with late crest & small yellow warning panels.
Currently operational & mainline certified.
Recently acquired from former owners alongside 55 016 for use on mainline railtours.
