Based at the Didcot Railway Centre in Oxfordshire.
Built in March 1931 by Charles Collett at Swindon Works.
Withdrawn from service in December 1963 after 32 Years, 9 Months of service.
It has a Collett 4000 tender fitted.
It was rescued by members of the Great Western Society and sent to Didcot Railway Centre in 1971.
It saw considerable main line service (including being involved in the GWR 150 celebrations in 1985), as well as in the centre.
Last major overhaul was completed in 1985.
Boiler ticket expired in December 1996, following a problem with the boiler.
Stored on static display, awaiting a major overhaul in the shed.
Painted in Great Western Green livery with Great Western lettering.
