60103 Flying Scotsman

Based at the National Railway in York.

Built in 1923 by Sir Nigel Gresley at Doncaster Works.

Numbered 1472, LNER 1472, LNER 4472, LNER 503, LNER 103 & BR E103 at other times.

Withdrawn from service in January 1963.

Owned by the National Railway Museum in York.

First ran in preservation during the 1970's & 1980's-1991.

Previously ran as 4472 from 1998-2005.

Last major overhaul was completed in December 2015.

Re-overhauled was completed in October 2022.

Mainline ticket expires in 2029.

Boiler ticket expires in 2032.

Currently operational & mainline certified.

Painted in BR lined Green livery with late crest.
