Built by Charles Collett at Swindon Works in June 1930 & spent most of it’s BR career at Plymouth Laira shed.
Withdrawn from service in June 1962.
Owned by the Royal Scot Locomotive and General Trust.
Maintained and operated by 6024 Preservation Society.
TOPS number 98824.
First ran in preservation from 1989-1995.
2nd period of running from 1996-2002
Last major overhaul was completed in 2004 & ran until 2012.
Boiler ticket expires in 2029.
Painted in BR Brunswick lined Green livery with late crest.
Mainline certified 2026-present.
Returned to service in 2026, following overhaul.
