Numbered NER 2238 & LNER 3395 at other times.
Withdrawn from service in September 1967.
Owned by the North Eastern Locomotive Preservation Group.
First ran in preservation from 1975-1982 as 2238.
2nd boiler ticket was from 2007-2017.
Previously ran from 2018-2023.
In May 2023, 63395 suffered a cylinder failure while departing from Grosmont with a train, causing major damage.
Last major overhaul was completed in July 2025.
Boiler ticket expires in 2035.
Painted in BR unlined Black livery.
Currently operational.
