Based at Didcot Railway Centre in Oxfordshire.
Built in January 1949 by Hawksworth at Swindon & immediately went to Cardiff Canton Shed.
Withdrawn from service in December 1965.
It has a Hawksworth 4000 tender fitted.
Owned by the Great Western Society.
Last major overhaul was completed in 1986.
Boiler ticket expired in 1996.
Painted in BR Brunswick lined Green livery with early crest.
Stored on static display, waiting a heavy overhaul.
Famed for working the GWS Vintage trains which used vintage GWR carriages.
She was the only member of her class to not be rescued from Barry Scrapyard.
