Built in 1954 at Crewe.
Withdrawn from service in November 1962.
Owned by the 71000 Steam Locomotive Ltd but on a 100 year lease to the BR Class 8 Steam Locomotive Trust.
First ran in preservation from 1989-1998.
Previously ran from 2004-2012.
Last major overhaul was completed in 2025.
Boiler ticket expires in 2035.
Mainline ticket expires in 2035.
Painted in BR Brunswick lined Green livery with early crest.
Currently operational & mainline certified.
