7819 Hinton Manor

Based at Severn Valley Railway.

Built in February 1939 by Charles Collett at Swindon Works.

Withdrawn from service in November 1965.

Owned by the SVR Charitable Trust.

First ran in preservation from 1977-1981.

Last major overhaul was completed in the Spring of 1984.

Boiler ticket expired on 7th January 1995.

Painted in Great Western Green livery with shirtbutton logo.

Currently at the Vale of Rheidol Railway for a two year loan period, to be displayed in their new museum until Spring 2028.

Starred in the final episode of God’s Wonderful Railway in 1979 with 6960 Raveningham Hall.
