Normally based at Strathspey Steam Railway, but is currently on loan to Spa Valley Railway on long term loan.
Built in 1899 at St Rollox works in Glasgow.
Numbered LMS 17566 & BR 57566 at other times.
Withdrawn from service in August 1963.
Owned by the CR 828 Trust.
First ran in preservation from 1990-2000.
Previously ran from 2010-2020.
Last overhaul was completed in 2020.
Currently operational.
Boiler ticket expires in mid 2026.
Painted in Caledonian lined Blue livery.
