850 Lord Nelson

Based at Mid-Hants Railway.

Built in 1926 at Eastleigh Works by Richard Maunsell.

Withdrawn from service on 18th August 1962.

Preserved as part of the National Railway Collection and has run on the national rail network.

Owned by the National Railway Museum in York.

Previously ran in preservation from 1979-1995.

Last major overhaul was completed in August 2006.

Boiler ticket expired on 31st December 2015.

To painted in BR Brunswick lined Green livery with late crest in the near future as 30850.

Currently stored in Ropley Shed, awaiting overhaul.
