Based at North Norfolk Railway.

Built in 1943 at North British Locomotive Company’s  Hyde Park Works, Springburn, North Glasgow.

Withdrawn in the 1970's.

Owned by the GN Society.

First ran in preservation from 1988-1993 as WD601 Sturdee on Mid-Hants Railway.

2nd boiler ticket was from 1994-2000.

Previously ran from 2003-2009.

Last major overhaul was completed in September 2017.

Boiler ticket expires in 2027.

Painted in BR unlined Black livery with early crest.

Currently operational.

Starred in an episode of ITV's Heartbeat drama.
