Built by Hawksworth in 1947 at Swindon Works.
Withdrawn in 1959 by BR.
Owned by the National Railway Museum in York.
Painted in GWR Green livery.
Not expected to steam again, due to museum policy & last ran in December 1959.
On static display for the foreseeable future.
One of 2 Hawksworth’s large Pannier 9400s that have survived into preservation & is the prototype engine of the class.
