Sold to NCB and was in service at Merthyr Vale colliery until 1973.

First ran in preservation from 1997-2007.
Last major overhaul was completed in 2009.
Mainline certified in 1999 & again from 2009-2017.
Boiler ticket expired in September 2018, after participating in the Tyseley Works open day weekend on 28th-29th September.
Painted in BR lined Black livery with early crest.
Stored awaiting overhaul.
