Based at the Dean Forest Railway in Gloucestershire.
Built in May 1949 by Charles Collett at Swindon Works & spent majority of it’s BR career in South Wales, working from Tondu to Cardiff sheds
Withdrawn and sent to Barry scrapyard in 1965.
It was taken to the Dean Forest Railway in 1975.
Owned by the Dean Forest Locomotive Group.
First ran in preservation from 1984-1990.
2nd boiler ticket between 1999-2001.
3rd boiler ticket between 2005-2013.
Last major overhaul was completed in November 2022.
Boiler ticket expires in 2032.
Painted in BR unlined Black livery with late crest.
Currently operational.
