American Horned Lark

Eremophila alpestris alpestris

Very rare vagrants from Eastern Canada, mainly in the Winter & Autumn.

This is classed as a separate subspecies from the Eurasian Shorelarks.

Adults are distinguished by the face pattern and back colour of Males, especially in Summer.
