We went to Blagdon Lake to see the Male Ring-necked Duck.

We went first to Chew Valley Lake, a Great White Egret perched in the tree with the Cormorants along Moreton Lane.

In Stratford Bay were Great Crested Grebes, Cormorants & Common Goldeneye.

We carried on to Blagdon Lake to look for the Ring-necked Duck.

The Male was still hanging in Long Bay with the Tufted Ducks.

Two more Great White Egrets were seen around the lake & a Grey Heron.

A Male Roe Deer was seen in the field near the village.

Back at Chew Valley Lake, we headed for Heron's Green Bay.

A Male Goosander showed very well from the layby.

A Barn Owl was out hunting around the fields behind the pool, occasionally getting mobbed by 3 Magpies.
