We went to Bowling Green Marsh RSPB to look for the Long-billed Dowitcher.

From the hide, we saw 4 European Spoonbills, Spotted Redshanks, Male Red-breasted Merganser, Northern Pintails, Black-tailed Godwits, Eurasian Wigeon & Northern Shovelers.

Although the Long-billed Dowitcher was present with the Black-tailed Godwits, we couldn't find it amongst the flock.

The flock were then flushed by a Peregrine Falcon.

Between Exminster Marshes RSPB to Turf Lock was a Male Reed Bunting, Mute Swan, Pied Wagtails, Eurasian Curlews & Common Chiffchaffs.

At Dawlish Warren NNR, we managed to get excellent views of both Male & Female Cirl Buntings on the ground.

A Comma Butterfly & Linnets were also seen.

In the early evening light at Aylesbeare Common RSPB, a Male Dartford Warbler showed very well perched on a Gorse bush & in the tree, before going to roost.
