We went to Chew Valley Lake to renew our birdwatching premits at Woodford Lodge. While we were there, we went to look for the Firecrest. The Male showed very well & in full song. From the Stratford Hide were a pair of Tufted Ducks & 2 Female Common Pochards. We went to Blagdon Lake to look for the Male Ring-necked Duck, sadly only gave distant views. The Male Long-tailed Duck was still present & showed very well on Tank no 2 at Barrow Gurney Reservoirs in the late afternoon sun.
Also Female Grey Wagtail & Great Cormorant [Sinensis] on Tank no 1.
