We went to Chew Valley Lake to see what was about.

A Male Common Kingfisher was seen from Moreton Hide briefly, but no Grebes sadly.

A Pied Wagtail was walking along the dam.

The Cormorants have still taken over Stratford Bay due to very high water levels.

The regular Great White Egret still had no island to land on & flew into the reeds out of sight.

A couple of Robins & Song Thrush were seen at the feeding station near Stratford Hide.

At Herriott's Bridge, a Great White Egret & Grey Heron were fishing in the small channel.

We headed to Compton Dando to look for the Siberian Chiffchaff.

The supporting cast included Common Chiffchaffs, Goldcrests, Long-tailed Tits, Wrens, Blue Tits, Great Tits, Female Bullfinch, Grey & Pied Wagtail.

The Siberian Chiffchaff showed only a couple of times, before going to roost late afternoon/early evening.
