Me & Dad headed to Lockleaze early morning to see the 2nd day of the Great Britain XVII heading from Bristol Temple Meads-Cardiff Central via Pembroke Docks & Fishguard Harbour hauled by Black 5 45212 up Filton Bank with 57314 Conwy Castle bringing up the rear.

Moths of the day were Brimstone Moth, Muslin Moth, Shuttle-shaped Dart & Brindled Beauty.

In our Yate garden, we had a visit from a Female Holly Blue & Female Orange-tip.

A few Tawny Mining Bees also were present in our garden.
