We went to Godrevy Point to look for Choughs.

We saw some Sanderlings, Dunlins & Ringed Plovers on the beach before they got disturbed & flew to the nearby rocks.

Quite a few Rock Pipits were around by the beach as well.

Grey Seals were resting on the beach in the usual cove from the viewpoint.

We went down to Cape Cornwall to look for the Melodious Warbler, that had been found the previous day.

The 1st Winter showed at times in the Pittosporum on south side of car park. During part of our visit it showed extremely well foraging through the bracken & perched on a small twig briefly close to the path.

It remained in the area until 24th September 2024.

We finished the day at Devoran looking for the Osprey.

Plenty of Curlews, Little Egrets, Black-headed Gulls, Greenshanks & Common Redshanks all flew upriver as the tide came in.

Sadly the Osprey didn't put in appearance during our late afternoon visit, but as it was a very high tide we had to wade across part of the way back to the car.
