We went to Highnam Woods RSPB to look for the Nightingale.

One Male was still in full song near the carpark & showed very well for a few minutes.

An Immature Male Broad-bodied Chaser was resting on some twigs by the path.

A couple of Wood Whites were feeding on Ragged Robins.

We headed to Ripple GPS to look for Club-tailed Dragonflies.

A Wasp Beetle rested on some Dock leaves.

Other Dragonflies & Damselflies on the wing included Common Blue Damselflies, Azure Damselflies, Blue-tailed Damselflies, White-legged Damselflies, Red-eyed Damselflies, Hairy Dragonflies, Black-tailed Skimmer [Females] & 1 Club-tailed Dragonfly we saw briefly during our visit (too quick for a photo).
