A couple of Song Thrushes were seen near the caravan park at Marazion the following morning. The Choughs were still showing around Sennen Cove at Land's End & a Common Guillemot on the sea. A Female Pied Wagtail foraged around the carpark at Cape Cornwall. At Crows-an-Wra, a flock of European Golden Plovers & Lapwings were feeding in one of the fields. We then headed to Newlyn Harbour to look for the Male Black Redstart. A Grey Seal was swimming around the harbour. A Common Redshank foraged along the seaweed. The Male Black Redstart showed very well by the RNLI building throughout the rest of the afternoon. A European Shag also swam through the harbour. We returned to Ryan's Field RSPB, Hayle to see what was about. A Common Greenshank was foraging in the pool behind Ryan's Field with a Black-headed Gull, before flying off to the estuary. A couple of Mediterranean Gulls were on the estuary from the B3301 causeway. Also a couple of Grey Plovers, Bar-tailed Godwit & Curlews were of note. A Little Egret was feeding in Copperhouse Creek.
