We went to Lisvane Reservoir to see the Lesser Scaup & Ring-necked Ducks. The 1st Winter Male Lesser Scaup was asleep with the Tufted Ducks during much of our visit during the morning. Two Ring-necked Ducks [Male & Female] on another part of the reservoir with a different group of Tufted Ducks showed very well. Later on, the 1st Winter Male Lesser Scaup woke for a bit of a swim with the Tufted Ducks. Afterwards, it went back to sleep. The following day, the Lesser Scaup went back to Cardiff Bay where it was orginally seen and remained there until 18th April 2024. The 2 Ring-necked Ducks remained at Lisvane until 21st April 2024.
