Me & Dad went to Pilning Wetlands, Northwick Warth in the afternoon to look for the Lesser Yellowlegs. A Juvenile Northern Wheatear was foraging along the seawall on the Severn Way footpath. Loads of Waders were seen on the Rear Wader Pool. These included Black-tailed Godwits, Dunlin, Ruff, Common Redshanks & Knot. The Juvenile Lesser Yellowlegs & Juvenile Spotted Redshank were seen briefly on Signal Pool, before they flew over to join other Waders on the Rear Wader Pool. Although I saw at least 7 Great White Egrets in the flooded fields opposite Acton Court near Iron Acton on Tuesday whilst on the minibus travelling to & from work, on Wednesday evening me & Dad saw only Little Egrets.
