We made a visit to Salisbury Plains to look for the Great Bustards. The birds showed very well in the field, mainly Males with just one Female. Other birds seen were a Male Reed Bunting, Yellowhammers, Corn Buntings, Meadow Pipits & Stonechats. We also saw herds of Roe & Red Deer.

The afternoon was spent at Winterbourne Downs RSPB watching the Stone-curlews from the viewing screen. The birds showed very well & a few Brown Hares ventured out to forage.
