On our way to the Severn Valley Railway, we called into Grimley Camp Lane Pools to look for the 2nd Summer Black-crowned Night Heron.

Sadly the bird hadn't been seen since 7:30AM

It wasn't showing during the late afternoon, when we came back from the Severn Valley Railway either .

The best highlight was a Great White Egret.

We went to the Severn Valley Railway to see 60103 Flying Scotsman on the reopening special train services to & from Bridgnorth.

It was working with 20142 Sir John Betjeman.

We saw in both directions at Barke Street, Highley.

A Common Buzzard soared over the Severn Valley Country Park.

A few Chubb were swimming in the River Severn below the bridge.
