We went to Slimbridge WWT for a couple of hours.

In the Rushy Pen, some Goldfinches were drinking from the stream.

The long staying Black Swan was showing well in the pen.

The Adult Wood Sandpiper was present on one of the islands.

A worn Female Holly Blue was on the wing around the grounds from the boardwalk.

The Adult European Spoonbill was on Bottom New Piece from the Ziess Hide.

On the South Lake from the Discovery Hide was an Adult Tundra Bean Goose of unknown origin.

Also present on South Lake were Avocets, Spotted Redshank & Black-tailed Godwits.

A Male Small Red-eyed Damselfly was resting on a Lily Pad.

Back on the Rushy Pen, a European Oystercatcher was resting on the island with Black-headed Gulls.

The Adult Wood Sandpiper showed very well late afternoon with the Green Sandpipers & Grey Heron.
