We went to Slimbridge WWT to look for the White-spotted Bluethroat.

From the Martin Smith Hide, we saw 3 Green Sandpipers & Avocet. A Coot was bringing back a reed to it's nest.

On the Tack Piece, viewed from both Robbie Garnett & Stephen Kirk Hides were Common Redshanks, Avocets, Little Egret, Grey Heron, 3 Great White Egrets & a pair of Egyptian Geese. The elusive Juvenile Wood Sandpiper showed very well late afternoon.

The Male White-spotted Bluethroat now in his 4th year on the site, showed very well at times from Middle Point Hide.

A few Southern Marsh Orchids were around the grounds.

On the Rushy Pen, we saw a few Avocet with chicks & a family of Mute Swans.
