We went to the Somerset Levels to see what was about.

We started at Greylake RSPB.

The species included 2 Grass Snakes, Small Copper, Brown Argus, Red Admiral & American Mink [not a welcome creature].

We then went to Westhay Moor NNR in the afternoon.

We saw Common Blue Damselflies, Red Admirals, Blue-tailed Damselflies, Nomophila noctuella (Rush Veneer) & Small Red-eyed Damselfly.

On Tealham Moor, there were quite a few Cattle Egrets foraging with the Cattle

Late afternoon/early evening, me & Dad went to Kingsgate Park, Yate to look for the Willow Emerald Damselfly.

The Male was perched near the fallen tree.
