Our visit to the Somerset Levels, began on Tealham Moor. At least 10 Cattle Egrets foraged amongst the the Cattle & flying over the road.

We continued on to Ham Wall RSPB & had a walk around.

Loads of Dragonflies were on the wing plus Damselflies: Scarce Chasers, Four-spotted Chasers, Black-tailed Skimmer, Ruddy Darter, Southern Hawkers, Brown Hawker Emperor Dragonfly, Blue-tailed Damselflies, Common Blue Damselflies, Variable Damselfly & Azure Damselflies.

The only Butterflies on the wing, we saw was a Red Admiral & Hutchinson Comma.

The birds we saw, during our visit to Ham Wall RSPB were Gadwalls, Mallards, Marsh Harriers, Bittern, Great White Egrets, Little Egret, Hobby, Great Crested Grebes, Little Grebe, Common Swifts & Common Pochard Family.
