We went to the West Somerset Railway's annual Spring Steam Gala, which was held from 2nd-5th May.

Two resident locos at this year's gala was 9351 & 1857.

The visiting locos were 2807 from Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway, 2999 Lady of Legend from Didcot ran as former sister 2986 Robin Hood for the gala, 7812 Erlestoke Manor on loan from Severn Valley Railway until the end of the 2027 running season, 11456 from it's long term base at East Lancashire Railway, 72 Fenchurch from Bluebell Railway & 45596 Bahamas from Keighley & Worth Valley Railway.

We were entertained by some Barn Swallows trying to nest under the station canopy at Blue Anchor, but kept being disturbed.
