Scopula floslactata
Has a nominate throughout England, Wales and Ireland, whereas in Scotland there is a smaller, darker variety scotica.
Mainly nocturnal.
It inhabits deciduous woodland, where the larvae feed on dandelion (Taraxacum) and knotgrass (Polygonum).
The wings are creamy white to yellowish white.
Occasionally, there is a wavy line in the marginal field.
The discal flecks are small and are often missing on the forewings, or very much blurred.
The Males have small, feathered antennae
It has one generation per year, with Adults taking flight from late May through early July.
