Breeds in Southern & Eastern Europe including Hungary, Spain, France, Italy & North Africa.
Breeding Males have a rich chestnut head breast and flanks with contrasting pure white undertail coverts & yellow eyes.
In flight the white belly and underwing patch are visible.
Females are duller and browner than the Males & has dark eyes.
