One of a few day flying Moths.
Common & widespread in Britain.
Larval foodplants is Common Bird's-foot Trefoil & Greater Bird's-foot Trefoil.
Adults are on wing from the mid-June to the beginning of August in one generation per year.
The Larvae feed on the leaves of greater bird's-foot trefoil (Lotus uliginosus) and bird's-foot trefoil (Lotus corniculatus).
The species overwinters in the larval stage and may overwinter twice.
