Fulvous Whistling Duck

Dendrocygna bicolor

Breeds in Mexico and South America, the West Indies, the Southern US, sub-Saharan Africa and the Indian subcontinent.

All plumages are fairly similar, but the Female is slightly smaller and duller-plumaged than the Male.

Juveniles has paler underparts, and appears generally duller, especially on the flanks.

In flight, they show the black-and-white tail pattern.

They have a different whistling call.
