Regular Summer visitors to Scotland, chiefly to Shetland.

Despite the Whale part of their name, they are members of the Dolphin Family rather than actual Whales.

Also occur worldwide from the Arctic to Antarctic Oceans, regularly seen along the Atlantic coasts of Europe.

Sometimes found in the Baltic & the Mediterranean Seas.
