Commoner in the southern half of Britain, mainly nocturnal.
The larvae feed on Hawthorn, Blackthorn & other trees & shrubs.
The Adults are a fairly uniform brown.
The Larvae feed mainly on trees and shrubs from within their tents.
The Flight period is from July-August.
